    Adult Degree & Continuing Studies Homepage

    The Engineering/Mechanical Technology, Associate of Applied Science degree program can be taken fully online or in person with some courses offered at our four off-site locations. We offer this degree to adult and high school students in a technical training program offered in conjunction with the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center, the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center, Somerset Career & Technology Center, Huntingdon County Career & Technology Center, Indiana County Technology Center, and other training programs in the region. The program enables individuals involved in post-secondary technical programs to be educated in the liberal arts and in the Catholic Franciscan tradition.

    ENGL 208 - Writing and Communicating in Business

    MGMT 101 - Principles of Management

    PHIL 205 - Discovering Philosophy Reasoning and Responsibility

    RLST 205 - Faith and Franciscanism

    CPSC (elective)

    FINE ARTS Art/ Theatre/ Music (elective)

    HIST (elective)

    MATH (elective above 100)

    SCI (elective)

    SOC SCI (elective from PSYC 101, SOC, or ENGL 104)

    Other Requirements ( 27 Credits )

    27 credits transfer in from diploma and other credits

    If you are attending any accredited post-secondary school -- can be Career & Technology Centers, Trade Schools, Business Schools/Colleges, Technical Schools, or Career Schools, etc., the credits can transfer in if a grade of C or higher.
