Sign JamJoin us for free family fun!

Work out and learn American Sign Language!! Grab a water bottle and head to the gym because it's time for a workout. Mr. Rodney Watson, of Rod and Friends, will teach the sign language and dance to "This is Me" with the support from the Saint Francis University students Amanda Ferguson and Marah Zitalone.

Mr. Rodney Watson has been artistically expressing songs in sign language for over two decades.  For the past seven years Mr. Watson and Ms. Gale DeArmin, Clinical Associate Professor of ASL, have been creating simplified, fun versions of popular songs with American Sign Language (ASL) and choreography.  This year, Mr. Watson has chosen "This is Me" which he feels truly depicts who he is and what he has experienced as a Hard of Hearing person with Treacher Collins Syndrome.  Mr. Watson surprised us with his recommendation to mentor students Amanda Ferguson and Marah Zitalone through his artistic process from beginning to end when all three of them will direct this years Sign Jam.

Everyone is welcome to come "jam" with us!  The entire song will be taught, perfected, and performed in just two hours.
