On Thursday, September 12th, students from across the university presented posters in the Science Center atrium on internships and research projects they participated in this past summer. Internships provide hands-on experience that help assure students are on the right track after graduation.
Based on data collected from our graduates, 78% of students surveyed completed at least one formal resume-enhancing experience such as an internship, field experience, clinical rotations, student teaching or other experiential education. 80% of those surveyed believed that their experience was instrumental in obtaining full-time employment after graduation.
