Saint Francis University’s Online Master of Health Science has been named one of the top ten in the nation by BestColleges.
Coming in at #9 in the ranking, SFU’s program was recognized for offering Health Education and Health Leadership concentrations which “differentiates itself from other online health science master's programs,” according to BestColleges. The MHS program was also recognized for empowering graduates to make a positive impact on the healthcare system, notably done through the integration of Franciscan values like generosity into coursework.
The mission of the Online Master of Health Science Program is to educate and develop health care leaders in a supportive, innovative, and flexible online format, guided by the goals of Franciscan Higher Education. MHS students can gain skills to develop and lead effective health education campaigns, evaluate and address contemporary ethical concerns, communicate effectively across a healthcare organization, lead a multidisciplinary or departmental team, and review and shape health policy.
The MHS program is designed for passionate health care professionals seeking to grow into positions of leadership. Small class sizes foster relationships with advisors and faculty who encourage students to grow personally and professionally.
Saint Francis’ Online Master of Health Science program is a part of Francis Worldwide, SFU’s school for continuing adult education, which offers additional programs in the healthcare fields including a Master of Public Health. Other certificates and Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Degrees are also available.
BestColleges uses a methodology that uses statistical data, surveys, academic quality, affordability, and online competency to rank programs. Data is gathered from Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and College Navigator both of which are hosted by the National Center for Education Statistics.
