Even though the position of women in our society has visibly altered for the better, women’s studies graduates can use their knowledge and insights to increase women’s presence in the business and political worlds. Graduates of women’s studies programs work as college professors, human rights advocates, victims' advocates, journalists, managers, office supply coordinators, lawyers, women’s shelter directors, nurses, midwives, legislative aides, public relations managers, rape crisis program directors, health clinic medical assistants, medical doctors, clinical social workers, health clinic coordinators, and union organizers.
