  • About the Program

Saint Francis University offers two pathways for admission to the Physician Assistant Program. Applicants may be accepted as a five-year student or graduate students. The majority of the Program’s students enter through the five-year track. The number of seats available for graduate students is limited and based on the number of five-year students that meet progression standards.

During the final two years of the program, you will be immersed in medicine.  In the first year of this phase you will participate in a variety of half-day clinical experiences, such as the operating room, emergency room, a rehabilitation center or an ophthalmology office. During the second year students may have the opportunity to complete rotations throughout the United States, as well as internationally.

  • Mission

To educate you as physician assistants to provide competent, compassionate and comprehensive health care to people and communities in need, as expressed through the Franciscan tradition.
