Public Health Degree Options

At Saint Francis University, you can earn a B.S. or a B.A. degree in public health. The B.S. option prepares students to move immediately into rewarding public health careers or further graduate training in other health-related careers, including a Master in Public Health degree.

      • The Public Health Bachelor of Arts degree offers a broad, well-rounded understanding of health and wellness from social ecology to be applied to non-science careers such as environment, disaster preparedness, education and policy.
      • Academic focus is broadly based, allowing the student to customize the degree.

    • Public Health, Bachelor of Science Pre-Medicine Concentration
      • The Public Health Bachelor of Science Pre-Professional Concentration degree prepares students for various provider roles, such as doctors, veterinarians, dentists, and pharmacists.
      • Academic focus requires pre-med sciences with public health classes.

    Minor

    Public Health, Minor 

    • The Public Health Minor is available to any student in any undergraduate major at Saint Francis University. The minor provides an opportunity for developing an understanding of concepts of health and disease, epidemiology, health promotion and disease prevention, and global health, helping to enhance the student’s marketability in the work-force.
