The REAL Institute, a partnership between Saint Francis, PLDC, and IU8, hosted the evidence fair in completion of the first ACT 45 course entitled, Leadership Frameworks for Transforming Education. This 40 credit hour PIL program was designed to guide school leaders through the five essential domains of leading: authentic, visionary, relational, quality, and service leaders. Dr. Pat Crawford facilitated this course throughout the semester which concluded last evening with an evidence fair of growth and achievement. Congratulations to all our participants. We look forward to welcoming the new cohort in January! Interested participants should contact Graduate Director, Mrs. Melissa Peppetti.
Pennsylvania State Representatives Judy Ward, Tommy Sankey, and John McGinnis, as well as State Senator, John Eichelberger, attended a forum, hosted by Saint Francis University’s Rural Education Alliance for Leadership (REAL) Institute. The forum focused on issues impacting rural schools and how institutions can better work with their local communities to meet these challenges and reinvigorate rural education.
