  • The Vogues (Sept. 30 at 2 p.m.)

    Vogues at SFUThe Vogues are best known for their chart-topping singles from the 1960’s including “You’re the One”, “Five O’Clock World”, “Magic Town”, and “Turn Around, Look At Me.” Their music has been featured in several movies and television shows including Good Morning Vietnam starring Robin Williams, and as the Drew Carey Show theme song. In addition to touring the world, The Vogues have appeared on American Bandstand, The Tonight Show, and The Ed Sullivan Show. The group, under the leadership of original member Chuck Blasko, has received numerous awards including their induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001. Be a part of Rock-n-Roll history as you attend a live concert presented by the world-famous Vogues featuring original member Chuck Blasko! 

    Grease Sing-A-Long (Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.)

    Grease at SFUBest known for his role as Eugene in Grease, Eddie Deezen has appeared in numerous movies. His major film credits include “Grease”, “Grease 2”, “Midnight Madness”, “1941”, and “WarGames”. Eddie had larger and starring roles in a number of independent cult films, including “Surf II: The End of the Trilogy”, “Mob Boss”, “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”, “Beverly Hills Vamp”, and “Teenage Exorcist”. As a voice actor, he is easily recognizable for his distinctively high-pitched and nasal voice, most notably used for the characters of Mandark in the Cartoon Network series “Dexter’s Laboratory”, Snipes the Magpie in “Rock-A-Doodle”, Ned in “Kim Possible”, and the Know-It- All Kid in “The Polar Express”. Come out for a great night of sing-a-long fun with the movie Grease, and meet actor Eddie Deezen! 

    SFU Band Blast (Nov. 25 at 1 p.m.)

    Band BlastGo back to the 1980’s with the SFU Marching Band in their 7th annual Band Blast. The SFU Marching Band will present a concert setting of the music performed throughout their 2018 season. This year’s field show featured music of the 1980’s including “Any Way You Want It”, “Mr. Roboto”, “Centerfold”, Freeze Frame”, “Mickey”, and more. So put on your parachute pants, your leg warmers, or break out your rubik’s cube, and go back in time with the SFU Marching Band! 

    White Christmas (Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.)

    White ChristmasBased on the beloved, timeless film starring Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney, this heartwarming musical adaptation features seventeen Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. The dazzling score features well known standards including Blue Skies, I Love A Piano, How Deep Is the Ocean and the perennial favorite, White Christmas. WHITE CHRISTMAS is an uplifting musical perfect for all ages!
